        Russell Hall is currently home to many different programs and colleges, as well as 5 general classrooms. The first floor holds the Russell Hall Information Center, the Capstone Center for Student Success, Health Promotion & Wellness, the Nutrition and Metabolism Research Lab, the Student Health Lab, and the Project Health Suite. The second floor holds the ACCESS and UA Early College programs. The College of Human Environmental Sciences' Department of Human Nutrition and Hospitality Management, as well as, the Department of Health Science are located on the fourth floor. The third floor is currently under construction. The addition that opened in 2012 holds 5 classrooms, 1 400 seat auditorium and 4 75 seat classrooms. Russell Hall was built in 1968 as the student health center and named for University trustee Thomas D. Russell and his wife Julia W. Russell. The majority of space in the building used to house the Lowery Learning Resources Center that included four computer labs, a media lab, the Koss Clinical Practice Labs and a Simulation Center. In 2010 a new building was constructed for the Capstone College of Nursing near the University Medical Center and DCH Hospital. Thus, Russell became a base for several different university programs and general classrooms.
