Located near the Show Me Center on SEMO's campus, the Vollink Family Observatory is a state-of-the-art facility featuring a 16-inch research-grade telescope. Made possible by a generous gift from alumni and community leaders Dennis and Kathy Vollink, the observatory serves as both an academic resource for university STEM courses and an open gateway for public stargazing and community science outreach.
