Walton Residence Hall
Walton Hall is named after Dr. Thomas Otto Walton and was constructed in 1931. Dr. Walton was president of Texas A&M College for 17 years, the longest period for any president. During Dr. Walton's tenure, the college grew from 2,084 students to over 6,500. Also during his administration, the University endowment was established and the college was recognized by the Association of American Universities.
