      1. George Bush Presidential Library & Museum

        The George Bush Presidential Library and Museum, which preserves and displays the records and artifacts of George H.W. Bush, the 41st President of the United States, opened to the public on Nov. 7, 1997. It is one of 13 Presidential Libraries in the United States. The library and museum is a state-of-the-art facility that contains more than 44 million pages of documents, 2 million photographs, 100,000 artifacts, thousands of sound and video recordings and more. It also includes replicas of President Bush's Camp David Office, Oval Office and White House Press Room. The museum is open seven days a week, with the exception of Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's Day. The Bush Center complex also includes the Annenberg Presidential Conference Center, an event facility built to accommodate the George Bush Library Foundation, George Bush Presidential Library, Texas A&M University departments and organizations, and the Texas A&M System. The Facility can host a variety of events such as banquets, lectures, workshops, receptions, and performances.
