Langford Architecture Center Building A
Known as a steward of the architecture program at Texas A&M, Ernest Langford dedicated himself to inspiring others to reach their full potential. Professor Langford served as the head of the architecture department for 27 years (1929-1956). With three graduates as the program's first graduates in 1906 to its 1,900 current students, the Langford Architecture Center offers students everything needed to fulfill their design projects, including computer labs, studios and classrooms. Inside, the building's walls are papered with a mosaic of project posters that are pinned up for review, which are then taken down for another review session. Throughout the day and night, students are reading, sketching, writing, sculpting, painting, designing and collaborating.
