Halbouty Geosciences Building
The Michael T. Halbouty '30 Geosciences Building Complex houses the Department of Geology and Geophysics, which offer numerous modern classrooms and well-equipped laboratories available for teaching and geophysical research. In 1997, the historical Dudley Hughes '51 Lecture Hall within the building was renovated, and its beautiful stained glass windows were persevered. Originally known as "Room 101," this state-of-the-art lecture hall offers everything a professor needs to project slide, as well as a surround sound for the video system.
