Built in 1960, M.E. Sadler Hall was named in honor of Chancellor MacGruder Ellis Sadler, who led the university from 1941 to 1965. Following the completion and move of administration offices to The Harrison, which brought together administrative departments into a single location, Sadler Hall was renovated returning valuable square footage to academic use. Sadler Hall houses the John V. Roach Honors College, AddRan College of Liberal Arts’ departments of Women & Gender Studies and Comparative Race & Ethnic Studies, Center for International Studies and Academic Advising.
