One of the smaller academic presses in the country, the TCU Press traditionally focuses on the history and literature of the American West but occasionally takes on projects outside that scholarly field. TCU Press books have won awards from the Texas Institute of Letters, the National Western Heritage and Cowboy Museum, Western Writers of America, and other organizations.
