Kellye Wright Samuelson Residence Hall
Kellye Wright Samuelson Hall, also known as "Kellye's Place" to its 160 residents, provides a world-class student-life experience in world-class facilities. The 64,350 square-foot residence hall borders the north side of the Campus Commons. The hall is named for Kellye Wright Samuelson, an artist and designer, who is the late daughter of Trustee Robert J. Wright '50 and his wife, Mary, founder of Medical Design Systems. Trustee Wright is founder of Medical City Dallas, Business Jet Center Dallas and Oakland, Business Jet Access, Shadin Avionics, and TWG, Inc., specializing in health care, aviation, aircraft avionics, real estate, energy, and internet technologies.
Samuelson is also home to Student Affairs office of Student Success (tutoring, student success coaching, New Student and Family Programs, orientation, transfer student services and parent and family programs.)
