      1. Buckhout Lab

Opened in 1930, Buckhout Laboratory was originally known as the new botany building. Buckhout is named for Dr. William A. Buckhout, botanist and professor at the Pennsylvania Agricultural College, who taught botany and natural sciences from 1871-1912. Buckhout now contains offices, research laboratories, and teaching facilities for the Plant Pathology and Environmental Microbiology Department.
