Originally known as the Plant Industries Building when it opened in 1949, Tyson Building was renamed to honor Chester J. Tyson in 1956. Tyson Building has traditionally housed space for agronomy and horticulture since its opening and now contains offices, classrooms, and research laboratories for the
Department of Plant Science.
