Built in 1971, the Insectary houses laboratory, growth chambers, and research equipment space for the
Entomology Department's mosquito research program. Besides researching mosquito-borne diseases like West Nile virus, researchers at the Insectary are also part of the
Center for Malaria Research at Penn State.
