Horse Barn
One of two horse barns on campus, the Horse Barn was completed in 1944. Along with the newer horse barn, Penn State's Equine facilities include approximately 35 stalls, an indoor arena, a round pen, and paddocks and pastures to house a herd of approximately 60 registered Quarter Horses. The facilities are used extensively for research and teaching, with several classes having weekly laboratory or hands-on sessions at the horse barns.
