Geotechnical Workshop: CCE 041
This workshop is used for the required geotechnical engineering courses, providing modern testing equipment to support the theoretical course concepts. The equipment includes both laboratory and field soil testing equipment including the means to perform all basic geotechnical testing, as well as soil strength testing (Direct Shear and Triaxial test) as well as subsurface exploration (10 ton portable CPT unit). Students learn standard laboratory and field investigative techniques. Located in the Center for Communications and Engineering.
