Laser Cutter Workshop: CCE 060
The Laser Cutter Workshop hosts a Vytek 200W laser cutter suitable for cutting a wide variety of flat-sheet materials. It does so by directing the output of a high-power laser, which is controlled by a computer, at the material to be cut. The material then either melts, burns, or vaporizes away, leaving an edge with a high-quality surface finish. Located in the Center for Communications and Engineering.
