Structures Workshop: CCE 039
The structures workshop supports coursework and research in the testing of civil engineering materials and structures. The lab includes equipment to mix and cast concrete samples, such as a 3 cu ft drum concrete mixer, four 7 quart commercial stand mixers, a 1000-lb capacity scale, a vibrating table, and a dust collection system. A masonry saw and grinder are available for sample preparation and an Instron 600 kN universal testing machine is used to test a variety of materials in both compression and tension.
