Dedicated to improving biodiversity and curbing climate change, the Foraging Forest was developed by the Class of 2025 as a space on campus that is home to many native trees and plants. Native plants are needed to replace invasive species, reduce the amount of carbon in the air, and provide food and shelter to animals. The Foraging Forest, which can be found at the entrance of the Bowers Writers House path, was started in 2024 to bring the campus community together in advocacy for environmental justice.
