If there's one place on campus almost every student frequents, this is it. Housing many essential services (ahem, food), "The Student Center" is a hub for students. The Sam Rayburn Student Center opened in 2009, and is named after the university’s most accomplished alumnus, 43rd speaker of the United States House of Representatives. Among the resources available to students here are The Club, the secondary East Texas Bookstore, the Leadership, Engagement, & Development Office, the Mane Cafeteria, the Serving Engaged, Empowered, & Diverse Students (S.E.E.D.S.) Office, and the Student Involvement Suite.
