      1. Ferguson Social Sciences / University Auditorium

Known as "Ferguson" amongst students, this building is located toward the back of campus. Whether you have a class here or not, you're likely to stop by from time to time for events that take place in the auditorium. Completed in 1926, Ferguson is the oldest building on campus. It contains the departments of History, Political Science, and Sociology and Criminal Justice. Ferguson is also home to the Joe B. Hinton Office of International Studies, which provides information, assistance and scholarships to students interested in international study. Ferguson’s auditorium is the site of many lectures and ceremonies featuring prominent academic figures as well as the incredibly popular annual step show -- you won't want to miss that!Upcoming Events
