A new era of
Penn State Baseball began with the completion of the state-of-the-art
Medlar Field at Lubrano Park, the home of the Nittany Lion baseball team. The facility -- completed in June of 2006 -- is arguably one of the best collegiate stadiums in the country, and is also home to the
State College Spikes, New York-Penn League Class AA affiliate of the St. Louis Cardinals Major League Baseball club.
