The
Botany Greenhouse represents a long-standing, world-class research and teaching facility. The research collections in the Botany Greenhouse have hosted extensive scientific research efforts for over 50 years and have solidified Penn State's reputation in the international botanical research community. The teaching collections have supported many introductory and senior-level courses over the greenhouses' long history, sometimes even beyond the University. Through these efforts, tens of thousands of students have learned about botany firsthand and have carried their knowledge into hundreds of careers paths.
