The Coal Utilization Lab building, located on Bigler Road, was built in 1993 and bridges between the Academic Activities and Academic Projects buildings. It is the administrative home of the
EMS Energy Institute, and houses offices, research labs, a high-bay facility, and meeting and seminar rooms.
