The housing building on campus is poised not only at the top of the campus’s “crooked mile,” but to be an incubator to develop long-lasting relationships with fellow peers and staff. Nestled on upper campus, McKeesport Hall is home to students from all over the country. Its convenient location is close to classroom, offices, your professors, and many activities. Professional staff members live in and manage the hall with support of student Resident Assistants. The building is locked 24 hours a day and uses a card swipe system to admit residents. Our state-of-the-art Community Kitchen is a popular place to hang out with your friends. You can cook your favorite meal or bake desserts for late night study sessions. Students can buy groceries at a supermarket within walking distance of the campus, or visit our Food Pantry, stocked with items available at no cost. If you don’t feel like cooking, use your meal plan in our Café Metro. There you will find homemade soups, daily entrees, sandwiches, a salad bar, Penn State Creamery ice cream and much more.
