Comstock Hall is home to 97 William Smith students and is one of William Smith's historic residence halls. The pond view level of Comstock is a first-year and substance free living environment. Each of the rooms is equipped with cable and computer/Internet access. Private bathrooms are located between every two rooms and are shared by the occupants of these connected rooms. The residence is connected to Miller House by a basement passage and has a small kitchen and laundry facilities. Comstock Hall was named for a trustee of Hobart College, Anna B. Comstock. Ms. Comstock was a friend of Mr. William Smith and also had a great influence on him to create the coordinate college for women.
