Located on what is becoming popularly known as Emerson Hill,
Caird Hall was opened for student residency on January 15, 2005, along with its sister building de Cordova Hall. Caird Hall houses 88 residents in singles, doubles and quads. There are bathroom facilities on each floor. The rooms offer separate temperature controls for each room, cable, and computer/Internet access. The ground floor is open to all residents and provides a recreational area with pool tables, dartboard and study space. Caird Hall also has a fitness room with exercise equipment and a small dance studio. A full kitchen and laundry facilities can also be found on the ground floor.
