Located at 583 S. Main St., the mission of PLEN (Public Leadership Education Network)is to empower, educate and engage women and marginalized gender groups in public policy to promote diverse, inclusive leadership in policymaking. PLEN was created to educate women for public leadership because they were, and are still, disadvantaged as a result of their gender. By expanding our mission to include people of all marginalized genders, we continue our work to break down gender-based barriers and diversify the field of public policy. The PLEN House serves as a model for allyship, encouraging the broader community of HWS to also engage in activism and support for marginalized groups. PLEN House can accommodate up to 11 students with one triple, three doubles and two singles. The PLEN House is open to female-identifying and other individuals of marginalized gender identities.
