Designed and built as the home to Providence College’s Development of Western Civilization Program, as well as the offices of the School of Arts and Sciences, the Liberal Arts Honors Program, and the Departments of English and History, the Ruane Center for the Humanities is at the academic heart of Providence College. Dedicated in 2013, the building is named for Michael ’71 and Elizabeth Ruane and their family.
