Fairmont Hall
Known for its close-knit family atmosphere and home to the Catalyst Program, Fairmont Hall houses about 60 students interested in social justice issues. Residents do community service together and have important discussions about the social impact of various issues. All of the freshmen in Fairmont take first year seminars on social justice issues. It is also the only residence hall with its own mascot: the Fairmont Rock. Fairmont Hall residents often use water guns and hoses to defend the rock from attackers who try to spray paint it.
