Big G is a great place to chill! Bud O’Dell ’59 received $10 in the contest to name Big G Lake in 1959. The actual 72-foot tall "G" was added in 1960 and had yellow paint mixed into the concrete. It is visible from the sports complex, and from here, you have a nice view of the soccer and football stands.
Under a cool canopy of trees, the east bank of the lake sports picnic tables, grills, and a dock donated by the homecoming Honor Class of 2011.
