About the Powerhouse Theater
The Hallie Flanagan Davis Powerhouse Theater is a black-box theater named after Hallie Flanagan, the drama professor who launched the Experimental Theater at Vassar. During the academic year, the Powerhouse is one of several theaters on campus where Drama Department productions are mounted. During the summer, it is home to the renowned Powerhouse Summer Theater Program, a theatrical incubator for new works and an training program.
