    1. Student Center

This $22 million building -- 70,000 square feet in all -- opened in January 2002. Amenities include a two-story “living room” with fireplace, the 600-seat Seasons dining room, the 400-person Back Bay multipurpose room, offices for student organizations and services, several meeting rooms, The Rec Room game room, and The 1917 Pub. The former student center, LaCava Campus Center, now houses administrative offices.

Construction was funded in large part by a $15 million gift made in 1999 by trustee Elkin B. McCallum '67 and his family. The McCallum Graduate School of Business was named in his honor.

Like the rest of Bentley's campus, the new center is wired for high-speed Internet access. It is open 18 hours a day and conveniently located, nestled among the heart of the residence halls.
