If you're a freshman, The Trees Complex will likely be your first home at Bentley. The Trees is a network of seven buildings that offer plenty of amenities, including port-per-pillow wiring, central air and central vacuum. There are television lounges in Alder and Maple halls, an exercise room in Alder, and a game room and The Backstage Lounge in Spruce Hall. Study lounges operate 24 hours per day in both Birch and Oak halls. You'll also find a laundry room, kitchen, and vending machines. All of the Tree Dorms were recently renovated.
All 500-plus residents of The Trees are first-year students. The seven halls offer a total of 256 double and triple rooms, with a common area on the first floor of each building. A resident assistant (RA) lives on each floor of each hall.
Freshmen begin their academic life at Bentley during First Week, a special orientation program held one week before the official start of classes. This is their time to get to know their classmates and the college before upperclassmen return. English, math and computer courses start this week, along with information sessions regarding all aspects of Bentley life.
