Designed by the architectural firm of Goody, Clancy & Associates, the four-story Copley residences opened in fall 2001. Known as North and South, the buildings feature four-bedroom suites and house a total of 325 students, mostly sophomores and juniors. Each spacious suite has its own living room with large windows, a microwave, bathroom, a large storage closet, and access to central vacuuming. A variety of single bedrooms, double bedrooms and handicapped-accessible rooms make up the suites.
In each building, residents enter through a colorful lobby with sleek couches and chairs, foosball and pool tables. Each also offers a laundry room, a common room for large functions, and group study rooms on every floor. Copley residents enjoy a birds-eye view of baseball, soccer and track events, and the Dana Athletic Center is located just steps away.
Like all other residences at Bentley, the new buildings feature port-per-pillow wiring. This allows roommates to be online at the same time, via their own dedicated ports.
