Bioscience Research Building
Completed in September 2009, the five-story Bioscience Research Building cost $45 million to build and measures 140,000 square feet. The building was constructed in the Bhutanese architectural style and provides access to the Biology Building through an exit on the second floor. The building houses the Department of Biological Sciences and the Border Biomedical Research Center.
Laboratories and research facilities include the Biosafety Level 3 Laboratory; Bioinformatics Computing Laboratory; Biomolecule Analysis Core Facility; Cytometry, Screening and Imaging Core Facility; Genomic Analysis Core Facility; and the Statistical Consulting Laboratory.
