Tess Morgan was a faculty member who taught English for 33 years and served as Dean of Women.

The Hall is a three-wing women's residence hall built in 1967. It has 136 furnished double and single rooms that house up to 245 students.

The south-wing rooms are called units. The north wing has two “houses” on each of its three stories, with a shared restroom, lounge, and laundry facility on each floor.

The building also has a large lobby with recreation/gathering space and a great room that features a full kitchen and a comfortable sitting area for student use.
