Abbey Orchard
The Abbey Orchard is a sprawling landscape of fruit trees maintained by the monks of St. Mary’s Abbey. 15 varieties of apples, 5 varieties of pear, 3 varieties of plum, 3 varieties of peaches and nectarine trees are cared for our Abbey arborist, Abbot Brian Clarke, OSB, who has maintained the Orchard for the past 50 years. The fruits of his labors, with help from his confreres and Delbarton senior volunteers, are harvested in the fall and spring season and enjoyed in the Monastery and School dining facilities.
