Abbot Brian Clarke Gymnasium
After a devastating fire on the morning of April 23, 1947 that destroyed the Kountze carriage house, then used as gymnasium and dormitory, Headmaster Father Stephen Findlay led the construction of the St. Joseph Gymnasium, nowadays referred to as the ‘old gym’. In 1983, campus facilities continued to expand with dedication of the Lynch Athletic Center which includes a second gymnasium, the Abbot Brian Clarke Gymnasium, as well as training facilities, a weight room, trainers’ offices and a treatment space.
