      1. Maxwell Student Union

        This large structure, built in 1972 on the southwest corner of the campus, houses The Den and the Donahoo student lounges, campus dining facilities (“The Max"), and other dining options, which include Chick-fil-A, To the Max Mexican, and Einstein’s Bagels. 

        This vital campus center was named after Mary Thomas Maxwell, who taught in the Georgia College English department from 1939-1968.

        The Maxwell Student Union also houses several other student centric offices such as Community Engagement & Service, Student Engagement, Fraternity and Sorority Life and E-sports.
