Created as a joint venture between the County of Ventura and California State University Channel Islands (CI), the Boating Instructional Safety Center (BISC) offers exhibits for the local community, classrooms for CI courses, as well as boat storage for the university. Located in the Channel Islands Harbor, near Oxnard, California, this facility provides educational opportunities related to the California and gives deeper insight into the ocean off our local coast.
