Lansing Hall is home to the
Department of Mathematics,
Computer Science and
Geoscience. Lansing Hall together with Eaton and Rosenberg Halls form the natural science complex.
The complex sits at the southeast corner of the main academic quadrangle in the center of campus just a few minute's walk from the main library, dormitories and dining facilities. The
Chemistry Department is located in adjoining buildings on the first floor of Rosenberg Hall and the second floor of Lansing Hall. Geoscience teaching labs are in the basement; offices and research labs are on the first floor.
The "gravitational" center of the department is Lansing 105, the first floor seminar room. The seminar room is a heavily used study space and includes recent journals, reference books, computers, laser printer, refrigerator and microwave.
