    1. Henry House

Located at 606 S. Main Street, Henry House is home to the History and Asian Studies Departments.

Nearly two decades before the Erie Canal opened, when this part of New York State was still the frontier, the two-story frame building known as Henry House was built. Some of its original architecture from the early 1900s remains, including a kitchen fireplace used for open-hearth cooking and a bread oven.

The home was designated a historical building in 1965.

Long a private residence and much altered over the years, Henry House was donated to the Colleges in 1974 by David H. Henry '39 in honor of his parents.
