The Princeton Review recently ranked HWS Study Abroad 1st in the Nation. We offer nearly 50 different programs in 33 countries for our students to study. Students can study abroad as early as their sophomore fall. Financial and merit-based aid applies to the abroad semester as well. Students apply a year in advance for semester-long programs, so that they can sit down with their adviser to make sure they will be able to take the credits they need in order to graduate on-time.
The variety of programs that are offered through HWS is what makes our programs so appealing to students.
- Home stays, apartment style, university housing
- Some are language intensive
- Faculty-led programs
The Washington DC Public Policy program allows students to study off campus without leaving the country. Students have an internship on Capitol Hill and take classes, as well as gain insight into how policy is made.
