      1. Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS)

        CAPS is staffed by clinical social workers, marriage and family therapists, psychologists, psychiatrists, registered nurses, doctoral interns, and post-doctoral fellows. CAPS provides UCSC students with a wide rage of mental health services, including group counseling, workshops, crisis assessment and intervention, referral services, and brief individual and couples counseling. We also provide preventative outreach and consultation services to the UCSC community. Counseling services are confidential and free of charge to all registered UCSC students.
