Elm Avenue Quad
The Elm Avenue Quad sits between Monument Residence Halls, the Admissions Welcome Center, Albers Residence Halls, and the University Center. This space is utilized for many student activities throughout the year including the Homecoming Bonfire, Pinon Palooza, and some all-campus barbecues. Students are regularly found here playing Frisbee, tossing a football, or socializing. Points of Interest near Elm Avenue Quad "Where Rivers Meet" (2006) This fountain was designed by Ryan Watkins and Melanie Doerpholz. It was created to reflect the Grand Valley's history, geography and the legacy of the junction between the Colorado and Gunnison rivers. The fountain is a monument to the dedication of lifelong education.
