    1. Tomlinson Library

      The John U. Tomlinson Library is the largest academic library between Salt Lake City and Denver. Holdings include more than 200,000 books, 35,000 journal volumes, 900 current print journal subscriptions, 700,000 microforms, 19,000 maps, and 14,000 media/audio-visual items. The library subscribes to more than 75 online databases, with access to over 12,000 journal articles online as well as over 7,000 e-books and 1,700 e-journals. Additionally, more than 20 million items are available through the Prospector system.

      Building features include common study areas, small group study rooms, a silent study room, computer labs, and Wi-Fi hotspots throughout the building.

      The library is named in honor of Mesa's 7th President, Dr. John U. Tomlinson, who led Mesa's transition from a two-year institution to a four-year baccalaureate-degree granting institution. He also oversaw one of Mesa's largest growth periods during his 14 years as president.

      • Quiet study areas, multiple meeting spaces for group projects, and video-conferencing classrooms are also throughout the newly renovated building.
