The Moss Performing Arts Center (2002)--named for longtime Colorado Mesa University supporters John and Angela Moss--houses theatre, music, dance programs. The center includes a recital hall, an experimental theatre, choral and instrumental rehearsal rooms, a music library, dressing rooms, offices, music practice rooms, classrooms, a costume shop, an outstanding dance studio, a scene shop and the Robinson main stage theater.
Performance Spaces
Recital Hall: Seats 288 and hosts more than 30 events each year, including senior recitals and the Guest Artist Recital Series.
Robinson Theater: Named for William S. Robinson, the founder of the University's theatre program, Robinson serves as the department's main stage venue and hosts four theater productions and more than 20 music department concerts each year. This 600-seat theatre with fly loft and a modern drama lighting systems is the premiere performing arts venue between Denver and Salt Lake City.
Mesa Experimental Theater: Also known as the MET and "Black Box", this venue seats up to 150 people and has almost an unlimited number of possible performance configurations conducive to experimental theatre performances.
