Location - Richardson is centrally located on Professors Row across from the Tisch Library and adjacent to the Mayer Campus Center. Richardson House is a staffed residence hall, with one Resident Assistant and one Resident Proctor.

Rooms - There are fourteen doubles and nine singles. There are also two triples on the ground floor. As this was once a private residence, each room is a different size. Each room is furnished with moveable furniture. The furniture consists of an extra-long twin bed, a desk, and a desk chair. The beds are multi-positioned beds that have eleven height adjustments up to 32 inches with 30 inches of space underneath when raised to maximum height. The use of solid cinder blocks or any other material, to raise the multi-position beds is prohibited in Richardson. The floors are hardwood. Each room contains closet space.
Bathrooms - There is a full bathroom on each floor. Each bathroom has showers, toilet stalls, and sinks.
Common Areas - A large main lounge is located on the first floor. This lounge contains a television, couches, and a small table. There is a smaller off the main lounge which contains a piano and vending machines.
Facilities - There is a kitchen on the ground floor. The kitchen is equipped with an oven, stove, sink, cabinets, refrigerator, and a table. The main laundry room is adjacent to the kitchen on the first floor and it contains washing machines and clothes dryers. During Winter Recess, Richardson House is used to house the students who are remaining on campus.
