Environmental Studies is an inherently interdisciplinary field which explores the complex links between human culture and the natural world. It is located in the Pope Science Building. The Environmental Studies Program at Utah Valley University challenges students to critically examine scientific, philosophical, social, and personal aspects of environmental issues and the numerous connections between natural and social systems, from local to global scales. Environmental Studies is useful for students seeking academic or professional paths in public policy on the environment as well as involvement in “green” sector jobs.
