Guinn Hall stands 24-stories tall, offering stunning views of the Denton skyline, and is equipped with abundant study and social spaces and offers easy access to dining, library and classroom facilities. Guinn is a co-educational, second-year residence hall with double and single occupancy rooms, each with a private bath. A computer lab services both Stark and Guinn in the Commons, along with a convenience store.
Fun Fact: A fixture on the Denton horizon, when Guinn Hall was completed in 1970, it became the country’s largest residence hall. The building is named for John A. Guinn, the former university president who changed our name to Texas Woman’s University and expanded our nursing programs into Dallas and Houston.
