Although K no longer has a religious affiliation, this campus landmark is important as the site of traditional ceremonies, gatherings, convocation and student performances. Students gather here every Friday in Community Reflections to discuss important issues in the life of the K community. The chapel is also a popular spot for alumni and community weddings.
The Cavern, located in the basement of the chapel, often welcomes students during the academic year with free tea and cookies; and a quiet place to study, pray or reflect. It’s also the home of the
Office of Spiritual Life. Students can plan bonfire and s’mores events at The Fire Circle, just outside the Cavern.
